The interesting things with beauty, is that it’s totally subjective yet heavily informed by the media with somewhat unrealistic expectations, particularly on women which can make people feel unnecessarily self conscious and uncomfortable with the way they naturally look.

Similarly, when it does come to external opinion, we all like different things - for instance, if you feel your breasts are too small or your hips are too wide, it might be a good idea to consider the fact many people prefer small breasts or wide hips; and try to let go of your own hang-ups on the basis that everyone has different tastes.




Take comfort that this aspect of body consciousness doesn’t just affect women, either, as we all know how men can feel insecure about certain parts of their body too.
